Crystal Castles - (III).

While waiting for Crystal Castles new album (III) here are some songs from the upcoming album. I´m looking forward for the release as it has been a while from the last album. These new songs are sounding good but I´m not instantly in love. No "disco bangers" quite yet;). I think "Wrath Of God" works the best for me out of these three. Hopefully the new album will have some darker and more layered stuff as this feels a bit tame compared to previous albums.

Fish Love.

Fish love is a brilliant ongoing photographic project that invites well-known personalities across the globe to make a bold stand to stop over-fishing. Scientists predict that all marine life will effectively disappear from our oceans by the middle of this century if nothing is done about over-fishing tells the fish love´s page. I just love the way this campaign / project is executed! Really important cause and the campaign is done in such a fun and inspiring way to surely catch the eye.

At work I am getting inspired by underwater life and I found these pictures quite cool.  There is something a bit scary about being under water but it is just so beautiful. Behind these pictures is a former abstract painter and figurative sculptor turned photographer called Neil Craver, Omni-Phantasmic.

A gorgeous picture of Jessie Ware shot by Paul Scala for Glamcult magazine. I love her 90´s kind of feminine looks! Soonish I will see her live at Tavastia, 4th of December to be exact. I think that it will be a great gig as it is such a small and intime venue so it can´t go that wrong.

Back in the 80´s.

I was quite the "art" enthusiast already back in the 80´s. In the picture I am finger painting in our familys summer place and I think I am about five. I have always loved doing things with my hands and executing my own creative vision. Same goes with clothing. I have been super fuzzy about my clothing like as soon as I learned to speak. Also I made my mother make my gorgeous "Bold and the Beutiful" inspired cocktail dresses that I had designed and then we would have a fashion shoot with my little sister and she was the model and I the creative and photographer of the shoot. So truly an every mothers dream;)...

I guess it´s no wonder how I ended up working with creative stuff in the marketing field. I think I have always know that there is a little creative director in me. I´m not that yet but I think I am well on way on that path!

Lana Del Rey - Ride.

I got an overdose of Lana Del Rey when she got super popular and her music was playing everywhere this year. Her sultry and yet dramatic voice and music is just beautiful but enough is enough.

When I heard "Ride" and saw this short movie kind of melancholic music video about the "American dream gone sideways" I started to like her again.  She really puts herself out there and has the balls to play this clingy hillbilly chic hooking up with really rugged biker and trucker types (and not in the hottie way rugged) and seeming not really to have any other purpose or goal but to do that. Not really the kind of female type you usually see in the music videos nowadays. She does´t take herself too seriously that is really refreshing!

Tuscany in pictures.

Here are some pictures of my last weeks trip to Tuscany. I stayed at this beautiful place called Cabbiavoli in Castelfiorentino (the last picture is of the view from the apartment where I stayed at). I was there for a wedding that lasted for a week. Under the sun in beautiful landscapes, swimming, good food, wine and friends. Can you ask more? What I really loved was the fig tree right next to the door and that you could pic delicious figs from it:).
