Flote  a.k.a. Dome Wrecka is a Philadephia based producer who has been in the lime light lately for beeing the main man behind a collective called Alter Ego making instrumental hip-hop in a new way. However this is Flote´s own LP. Interesting stuff.

Tonight I went to see Maria Minerva at Kuudes Linja. I had heard of her before but had not listened her music and I was curios to hear how it was. Must say that I´m a fan now. I really liked her stuff and especially how she remixes old songs. I loved the lo-fi versions of Abba songs! Here is one of her Abba covers.

Short Stories - On The Way.

Today as I was scrolling thru my playlists to play some music for me and my sister I realised that the music that I usually prefered to listen to is a bit melancholic or with some kind of "dark twist". My sister would have liked to listen to something cheerful and I just couldn´t find anything in that category. Does it make you a melacholic person if you like to listen to melancholic music?

And here is yet another not so upbeat song from Short Stories "On The Way". I think I could start a club night called the "The Gloom Disco" for other like minded people;).
